Another Day Another Step Closer To Our Goal
Another productive Monday is in the books.
Today, we did some more good work. We found an assault bike, a free form treadmill, and a chance to see a bundle of equipment later this week.
It’s awesome to see things start coming together day in and day out. Each day we are taking small steps to accomplishing our big goal of opening up a gym to help as many people as we can. We have so many people helping us out and supporting us along the way it’s just really hard to wrap my mind around it. I can’t thank the people are me and us enough. They are the ones making all of this possible.
The biggest step we took today was starting lease negotiations on our preferred location at the moment. It’s in the early stages and we have a lot of work to do but the process is started and we are very excited. It’s in a prime location and would be ideal for everything that we are looking to do. Hopefully we can make something happen very shortly here.
I was also able to get back to training as I put in a 2 workout day. I first lifted chest and triceps and did two cardio rounds on the assault bike. Then I went home and took Champ on a walk and had some food to recover. Then I went in to the gym a half hour before practice to do some sled pushes to switch up some cardio. It was a great way to head into practice. I felt great and got some good reps in and then finished with a few hard rounds with the guys. All in all it was a great training day and I made some real progress on that front as well.
I was able to get in some personal development today as well. I read some of Russell Brunson’s book Traffic Secrets. It’s a great read and really insightful in helping grow our business and drive traffic our way. I got to listen to a podcast from NSCA to aid my speed development knowledge also.
All of this put together results in one productive and enjoyable day. I am very thankful for these days and the flexibility I have with my scheduling to make these days happen.
