More Wedding Planning and Program Help for BJJ and Soccer Athletes
Monday I did a ton of interacting on Facebook within the groups I belong to.
I was in the soccer practice sessions group posting one of my favorite speed workouts for soccer athletes. I wanted to give them a full workout that they could take to their players and teams to give them a good and effective workout. I also went through the most recent comments in the group to answer questions and provide valuable answers to as many people as I could. It’s been a lot of fun interacting in these groups and striking up conversations with these people. I find it rewarding and hope to keep making friendships.
Then I hopped in the BJJ groups to do the same thing. Answer as many questions as I could and just started scrolling through posts and comments to add what I could. I went through all the posts and comments from the last 24 hours and then got off of Facebook for a little bit.
I also put in my answers for the DJ form for our wedding and got that sent to Steph for her to add her songs as well. We also got things finalized with the caterer to make sure everything was set up and ready to go for this weekend! We couldn’t be more excited! Everything is in place and we are just about set up and ready to go. Just a few last minute details to get ready.
It was an exciting day up to this point and then I got to go into the gym for a personal training session. We were training legs and core on that day and had a lot of fun. It was a good training session and she felt better after leaving. She had said she was tired beforehand and the workout was much needed. As is the case right after the session it was time for training and I got my gi on and ready for class.
We started with our breathing as always and then continued with our lesson on pendulum sweeps. We worked that into an escape from mount and we also learned an infinity drill to practice the sweep and escape. After class ended TJ and I rolled for quite a bit afterward. We covered what happened to me on Friday and some adjustments to make in my game to prevent the same things from happening next time. It was really helpful for me and I appreciate the one on one coaching time with him. It helps my game a lot.
From there I went home to take a shower and get some more work done for the rest of the night. I did some program building and my online client needed her weekly workouts and meal plans so I put that together and got that sent over to her. By that time it was about time for sleep to get ready for the next day.
