New Programs For Athletes Coming Soon

Today I began working on my next project. I am going to put together a comprehensive 4 week training program on improving your 40 yard dash time.

It’s going to be full of instructional videos, exercise videos, and detailed instructions on each phase of the 40 and how to improve them.

I’m always looking for new ways to help athletes get faster and stronger. I feel this will be an incredibly valuable program to help athletes of all levels improve their mechanics and therefore improve their running times.

Every athlete has different needs and goals and creating programs to address these specific goals allow me to help a larger number of people. That’s what I really enjoy doing and always learning, creating, and delivering new content and programs to people allow me to keep that group growing.

It’s kind of a cool story of how it all came together that this is the next program I am developing. I was talking with one of my clients and he coaches a high school football team and he was telling me how the team was preparing to run it. He’s had them training for a couple weeks now and said they’re really excited to get timed. He said they have been giving him a hard time and actually convinced him to run it with them!

Anyway, we got to talking about how energized and excited the athletes were about training for a specific goal. Even though they are obviously doing their football drills and preparing for the upcoming season. They have a smaller goal of improving their 40 times. What this does is actually keeps them engaged and working hard to improve their conditioning, strength, and mechanics. I think it’s a brilliant strategy to incorporate into a team training program. Always keep the big picture in mind but keep adding and adjusting smaller goals along the way.

So, he was saying how he couldn’t really find a program designed specifically for improving 40 times and he thought it would be a good idea to put one together for the team and use as a program for my athletes as well. It really got me thinking about how much of a good idea it is. It’s specific and goal oriented. Four weeks makes it a realistic timeline. It will get them not only faster but stronger as well because it will involve weight lifting and dynamic movements. It will have a high focus on stance adjustments and proper mechanics during the start, acceleration, and maximum velocity phases of the 40. I think all this put together will be extremely beneficial to athletes of all ages and sports.

I can’t wait to get it finished to share with everyone!

Don’t forget to go check out my flagship program for developing speed called the Speed Development System. It’s a comprehensive 13-week program specifically designed to improve speed, strength, conditioning, and mechanics. Just go check it out and all the cool bonuses by clicking here.

Until tomorrow,
